Welsh Typing Service

Audio Transcription Service
In critical situations, you may need a transcription of a video or audio recording. This might be for legal purposes or to make an appeal.
Innovative software and AI are still unable to understand everything that is said. Especially if there is an accent or more than one voice. It certainly may have difficulties understanding medical terms.

“How much will my typing cost?” or ” What are transcription charges?” are questions I am often asked. Above are my standard typing and transcription rates. Generally, a piece of A4 in handwriting is around 350 words so you can have a fair idea of how much typing of your book will cost. With transcription, extra speakers take more time so they are charged at 13p/16p per minute per extra speaker. I try to keep my pricing clear so that you can make an estimation of the cost even before contacting me. If your project is slightly different, ie a document I am always happy to talk to you so I can provide a price.

As you can see below Liz The Whiz provides a wide variety of typing and transcription services. This is because of my experience in previous jobs and also since becoming a Virtual Assistant providing a remote typing service. From large mailshots to memoirs, affidavits to estimates, I have typed them all.
Copy Typing
I provide copy typing services for both handwritten and printed documents. There is also some availability for Welsh copy typing by a local Welsh speaker. Contact me to discuss your needs.
Medical
Medical transcription and typing often includes unusual terms. It also may include sending files confidentially and password protected. I protect both you and your patients in this way.
Legal
Legal typing and transcription requires extreme confidentiality, accuracy and an understanding of legal layout and terms. Having worked for solicitors I am able to provide this service to you.
Documents
All businesses require documents. These might be estimates, policy documents, risk assessments, manuals, statements of works etc. I type your specifications.
Books
Whether it is fiction, a life story or a manual, I am happy to type your book for you. Post ‘Signed For’ or if you are located near me, you can drop off your manuscript.

Send a letter that makes a good impression. I will make sure the it is professionally laid out and that grammar and spelling are correct so that your letter stands out.
Memoirs
Memoirs are written from the author’s point of view about a certain part of their life or certain events. I type memoirs and full-life autobiographies so that your history is recorded forever.

Professional estimates are key to you gaining new business. I can prepare a polished document that will make it more likely you will get the job for which you are quoting, and a template for future quotes.
CV Typing
Do you need a new CV or résumé so that you can get a new job? I can format your CV with or without a picture and make sure all the writing is correct so that you can get the job you want.
