I provide copy typing services for both handwritten and printed documents. Contact me in order to discuss turnaround and handover of paperwork.
Document Design
When I type a document, I always include good design. The design includes page numbers, headings and other elements. I can produce a plain document if you prefer.

All businesses require documents. These might be estimates, policy documents, risk assessments, manuals, statements of works etc. I type your specifications.

Word Processors
typing Programs
There are plenty of word processors, book-writing apps and document design programs to choose from. Here are some of the ones most often used. I have used all of these with the exception of Scrivener, however, I hear many good things about it.
A PDF (portable document format) can be created from any of these programs. The good thing about a PDF is that the recipient would find it a lot more difficult to edit than a document sent from any of the other apps shown below.
Microsoft Word
In my opinion, this is the best all-around word processing programme. I have been using it for many years to provide reports, mailshots, property details and much more.
Google Docs
Google Docs is free if you use Chrome so a very popular choice. I am familiar with it, although I find it is not as versatile as Microsoft Word and an online connection is normally required.
Apple Pages
The great thing about Apple Pages is the shortcuts which speed up typing. Once you have created keyboard shortcuts on one device, they are available on all your apple devices in Apple Pages.
Microsoft Powerpoint
Powerpoint is useful for a lot more than screen presentations. It is also excellent for creating brochures and other printable presentations.
Scrivener
A few authors I work with use this book typing software. Documents produced in Word can be inserted directly into your Scrivener program.
Microsoft Excel
Excel is more suited for number work than words. However, I can happily type data into an Excel sheet, fix headers or add a sum.

Will you be able to read my writing?
I can read most writing, even writing from the 1800s. If there is something I am really struggling with, I can always ask you.
Who will see what you type or what I send to you?
Only me. I always ask for your permission before I share anything on my website or social media.
Why not use dictation software instead?
Dictation software has its place. However, it can take some time to get used to. Also, it doesn’t format your page, add pictures or page numbering. That means you may spend more time editing your document than I would spend typing it.
